A few things women ask us

My periods stopped completely. Will this bring them back?

Yes. Preconception Cleanse can help resume missing periods. Many women in our community come to us after months without a cycle. Chasteberry and Shatavari support the progesterone side of your cycle, while Stinging Nettle supports healthy androgen balance — the two things most often behind a missing period with PCOS.* We recommend taking it regularly for 3-6 months, though most women get their periods back within 2-3 cycles.*

I'm 34 with PCOS and we've been TTC for 18 months. Will this help?

Preconception Cleanse was built for exactly this window. Irregular ovulation is the main reason PCOS makes conception harder.* Our blend supports cycle rhythm and healthy hormonal balance so ovulation becomes something you can actually track.* Take it daily for at least 3 months along with Osh Elite Prenatal and continue taking while actively trying to conceive.*

Will it help with the acne and the chin hairs?

These are usually driven by androgen imbalance. Stinging Nettle has been studied specifically in women with elevated androgens, and it's in our blend at a meaningful dose.* Skin and hair changes are slower than cycle changes. Please continue taking it for 3-4 months. Please note that some women see a brief skin flare in weeks 2-3 before it settles.*

I don't want to get pregnant. Can I still take a "Pre-Conception" Cleanse?

Yes — the name describes when it was originally formulated for, not who it's for. A large share of our community takes it purely for cycle regularity, skin and hormonal balance with no plans to conceive.* It contains no hormones and is made with 100% organic ingredients.

PCOS Shouldn't Mean "Come Back When You Want a Baby"

PCOS affects roughly 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, and up to 70% are never diagnosed. The options you're usually offered — the pill to mask the cycle, or "lose some weight and come back later" — don't address what's underneath: the androgen and blood-sugar imbalance driving the whole picture.

Whether you're trying to conceive or you'd just like a period you can plan around, Preconception Cleanse may provide the support you're looking for.*

What the First 12 Weeks Actually Look Like

No hype. Here's what women with PCOS typically report, and why the root-cause approach takes a full cycle to show up.

Week 1-3

Quiet weeks. Most women notice less bloating and steadier energy before anything happens with their cycle. Some see a brief skin flare. It settles.

Week 3-6

Signs of a cycle return: changes in cervical mucus, mild ovulation twinges, breast tenderness. Many women get a period in this window, sometimes the first in months.

Week 7-12

The bigger shift. Cycles start arriving in a range you can predict, PMS and skin improve, and most women describe finally feeling like their body is on their side.

KEY Benefits

Pre-conception Cleanse is made with ingredients that can help

  • support healthy estrogen–progesterone balance and a functioning luteal phase*
  • support the body's androgen balance — the driver behind skin, hair and cycle symptoms*
  • support a healthy blood sugar response, the metabolic side of PCOS*
  • support the return of a natural, trackable cycle rhythm*
  • support post-birth-control cycle recovery*

Suggested Use

Take 2 capsules daily, ideally with breakfast. Ease in with 1 capsule a day for the first 4 days.

With PCOS, a cycle takes a cycle to re-establish — we ask you to give it the full 3 months. Most women notice non-cycle changes (bloating, energy, cravings) in weeks 2-3, and cycle changes between weeks 4 and 12.*

If you're trying to conceive, pair it with Osh Elite Prenatal and continue taking it while actively trying and stop once you receive a positive pregnancy test.

Questions? We've Got You Covered!

Have a different question? Ask us at hi@oshwellness.com

Does Pre-Conception Cleanse help with PCOS?

Yes. It's formulated to support the two imbalances that sit underneath PCOS symptoms: androgen balance and blood sugar response.* Stinging Nettle has been clinically studied in women with elevated androgens, Moringa supports a healthy glycemic response, and Chasteberry and Shatavari support the progesterone side of your cycle.*

Women in our community most often report more regular cycles, calmer skin and steadier energy after 2-3 months of consistent use.* It is not a treatment for PCOS and doesn't replace your doctor's care — many women take it alongside.

I have PCOS and I'm trying to conceive. Can I take this while TTC?

Yes — it's formulated for the window before conception and is designed to be taken while you're actively trying.* With PCOS the usual obstacle is unpredictable ovulation, so the goal is a cycle regular enough to time. If you confirm a pregnancy, stop and switch to a prenatal vitamin.

I've been told inositol is the thing for PCOS. Why this instead?

Not instead — alongside. Inositol works on insulin signalling; our blend works on androgen balance, progesterone and cycle rhythm, with metabolic support from Moringa. They address different parts of the same picture and plenty of women in our community stack them. If you're only going to take one thing and your PCOS is primarily metabolic, inositol is a reasonable starting point. If your main complaints are missing cycles, skin and hair, Preconception Cleanse is built for that.*

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is the world's oldest continuously practised medicinal system that believes in achieving holistic wellness by restoring the balance in body and mind. It addresses the root cause of an issue, rather than just optimizing to suppress the associated symptoms.

Ayurvedic herbs have been used for thousands of years to optimize female hormonal health. These herbs have been extensively studied and backed by scientific evidence only recently.

We carefully select evidence-backed Ayurvedic botanicals in their purest forms, and blend them together in optimal quantities to formulate a uniquely comprehensive pre-conception support.

Can I take this if I’m NOT trying to conceive?

Absolutely. Despite the name, a large part of our community takes it purely for cycle regularity, skin and hormonal balance with no plans to conceive. It contains no hormones and is made with 100% organic botanicals.

Can I take this with my prenatal vitamin?

Yes, the Preconception Cleanse and our Elite Prenatal are formulated to work together. Many women stack both for a complete preconception protocol.

Do I need to wait for a particular day in my cycle to start taking this?

No. You can start taking the Pre-conception Cleanse at any point in your cycle. We recommend that you start immediately on receiving your order, but ease in by taking 1 capsule a day for first 3 days and then increasing to 2 capsules.

My period has stopped completely. How long before it comes back?

Most women who see a change see it between weeks 4 and 12, and a good number report their first period in months somewhere in that window.* However, results can vary depending on many factors that influence PCOS and hormonal health in general.

I'm on the pill for my PCOS. Can I take this?

Many women start the Cleanse while coming off hormonal birth control, and post-pill cycle recovery is one of the things the formula was designed to support.* Don't stop any prescribed medication without talking to your doctor first, and if you're taking it alongside the pill, check with them — the pill masks your natural cycle, so you won't be able to see the cycle changes while you're on it.

Are there side effects?

Side effects from these ingredients are rare and mild. The two things women mention most in the first few weeks are light spotting and a short-lived skin flare, both of which typically settle. As with any new supplement, check with your doctor first — particularly if you're on medication for PCOS, thyroid or blood sugar.
