Suggested Use

What is the difference between Elite Prenatal and other prenatal vitamins?

Elite Prenatal goes well beyond the bare minimum that most other prenatal vitamins provide in their formulation. We use superior form of every ingredient with enhanced bioavailability for a better absorption. Elite Prenatal also contains vitamin dosage that is recommended by experts, and does not stop at the FDA-recommended minimum dosage. Some examples include

- Zinc Bisglycinate Chelate instead of Zinc Oxide for better absorption

Is this FDA approved?

Can this cause constipation?

We designed Elite Prenatal to be gentle on the stomach. Instead of using the sulphate form of Iron that many other prenatals use, we use the chelated form of iron amino acids that are easier to digest and have higher bioavailability.
 

Elite Prenatal also includes a specially formulated digestive blend that enhances nutrient absorption and minimizes gastrointestinal discomfort, such as bloating and nausea. This is particularly beneficial for expectant mothers who may experience digestive issues during pregnancy.

Why is there no DHA in Elite Prenatal?

The amount of DHA your body needs depends on your dietary habits and your healthcare provider's recommendations. Excess DHA can cause gastrointestinal discomfort and may also interact with certain medications.
 

We did not include DHA in Elite Prenatal to give you the flexibility to choose the dose and your source of DHA that works best for you.

Unbearable smell and taste

I was really hopeful about this product it had everything I wanted in a prenatal but oh dear lord the smell and taste was absolutely horrendous and you have to take 4 at a time. I took it twice and put it away to find another one. I just couldn’t do it. I’m sure it’s great if you can keep it down and bare with the horrific burps and breath.

Great list. Awful smell/taste

I bought these for the ingredient list. I finally found something that had everything I want in a prenatal. But the smell and taste of these are horrendous. And to have to take 4 of them makes it even worse. Super disappointed because I wanted to love them but I don’t know if I can even finish the bottle. I can’t see how a pregnant lady can keep these down with how potent they are

If you want the very best absorption this is the best option

The thing about most vitamins is they’re a gimmick. They never have all of the daily percentage that you actually need and most prenatals you have to specifically look for ones that have folate. I’ve never come across one that had iron as well so that’s worth it by itself. Iron pills are expensive and don’t taste good. So I’m glad to just take these that has everything I need rather than a bunch of different ones. This has vitamin and others that help with absorption of vitamins. Yep these are big, because they have everything. And yes they recommend 4 times a day but that better guarantees absorption. After taking these for a few days I can already tell a big difference in my energy and daily life. Just take it and chase with orange juice (which also helps absorption). The gummy vitamins don’t work well in terms of absorption anyways, they’re less effective than pills like these. I recommend taking them with food not on an empty stomach. And remember to lookup what foods and juices paired with vitamins help with absorption. Also keep in mine iron can cause constipation so adjust your diet accordingly. This is for the expensive healthy crunchy mamas!
